My introduction to wine started when I was stationed in northeastern Italy. Living near historic Valdobbiadene, Saove, and Valpolicella wine regions gave me a crash course in wine and while there, I learned quickly how amazing wine is. I came to appreciate the care and attention to detail that growers and winemakers put into their craft, as I toured the countryside in a car full of close friends, and discovered the joy everyone has when they are drinking together. It was in these moments that I discovered a simple philosophy about wine.

Since my time living in Europe, I have been fortunate enough to continue traveling around the world to explore wine. I’ve continued learning about Italian wine, then other regions, and have expanded my experience and knowledge to wines across the globe. And now, I want to share it with others. Life is a journey and drinking good wine should be part of it. Join me to learn something new, try new wines, and have a laugh while we sip together.
